| | Details about me: | Here are a few things about myself to give you a little idea about who I am.
First off I am a single father that has seen life in a way I never thought possible. I am 45 and raising my 10 yrs son by myself. I have undergone a great transition from the boy I was to the man I have become. Its a change that I will be perfectly honest and admit that it hasn't come easy, and Im still learning. I just dont get how some men dont ever make this change, or even try. (Some single mothers know exactly what I'm talking about.)...oh and speaking of single mothers, this to you; after the last 4yrs I have a totally new found respect for you! ( ( (!!!applause!!!) ) ) I had the blessing of both parents growing up and had absolutely no clue how difficult being mom & dad is til now.
I also have a great passion for the outdoors... (camping, fishing, hunting, or just watching nature in action period, taking long walks or hikes, etc...) I love to cook (and am very good at it!) going to concerts, or just hanging out and watching a movie. I also enjoy visiting places I have never been and seeing new things. I can enjoy doing most anything if the company is right.
Me in a nutshell: I'm an honest, faithful, and hard working father. I was raised by both parents, with old fashioned values. Family you can depend on no matter what, is the greatest treasure of all.
Never will I ask anything of anyone that I would not do myself for someone else, and if I say it, you can bank on it.
I have been known to be rather competitive also. I don't like to lose, but am definitely not sore when I do, because I always give my all in everything...from work, to play, to relationships. You only go round once so ya may as well make the best of it!
