Occupation: Pro speedskater and part-time model (mostly for my sport in sport magazines). Originally from the Netherlands living in Canada to train for 2010! I'am a pretty down to earth kind of guy who is very social. I love outdoor sports from Inline skating to snowboarding (i suck at tennis though :P). I think doing something simple can be very romantic. but i also like to have a really romantic event (picknick on the beach or something) love to go camping and watch the stars at night. I also love going to a classy restaurant or a movie...
I love to go to a pub or dance, altough i am not a big drinker i like a beer or whine ones in a while. I love to just hang out at home on the couch and cuddle up and watch a movie with a good glass of wine! i don't do drugs and never will! partly cause i studied the side effects and cause its not my style. I neither smoke, just can't stand the smell and cause its bad for my athletic performance. i don't eat much fastfood cause i take my sport-diet pretty serious! i don't drink much either, i don't think thats boring i am just very determent in my sport! i love to cook my own healthy meals and the knowledge i have from being a nutritionist is helping me out pretty good :)
I live on my own and have been since i was 17. I Lived 3 Months in the USA and Germany for training purposes and moved to Canada recently. I spended my first 6 months in Calgary and about a year now in Vernon...
I like fashion, and just as most Europeans i like to dress up nice and spend to much money on designer clothes.. . lol! favorite brands: Hugo, Armani, D&G and Diesel..!
I'am recently finishing my Pharmacy study and work part time at an nutrition/supplement store, and as an nutritionist! used to work as a personal trainer as well but i prefer nutritionist, i love to help people achieve their goals its a satisfying feeling :). I have a bachelor in criminal law, but choose to go for the Pharmaceutical study.
I train for my skating a couple of hours each day, but have enough time to do fun stuff.. My training includes a lot of roadbiking, inline-skating, doing weights and spinning in the gym and running/sprinting around an outdoor track... I normally get up arround 5 or 6 am to start the day with training and studying, hence why i am wrtiting my profile at 5 am... lol;)
Because i am originally from the Netherlands i have a accent and my writing isnt always as fluent lol....
I love traveling and have been doing that for competition and training purposes all over the world. examples being (Japan, China, all Europe, Korea, USA, Argentina)
And i had some skating related training-camps in Egypt, Mallorca (spanish island) and as previously said lived in the USA (Milwaukee and Salt lake) and Germany (Berlin, Koln and Frankfurt) for training..
I see myself as an intelligent, ambitious, fun, confident, very honest and loyal, kind, open, very caring and a romantic guy, that always wants to make others have a good time!
I spend a lot of time with my friends and family and love to have a lot of people arround me!
I speak the following languages: Dutch, English, German, and French. (and i know some medical terms in Latin and Greek)
What i look for in a girl is: some smarts, sweet and caring, a lil romance would be nice :) and be able to have some long cuddle sessions lol!
