Motivated
I am driven in many ways. I am fortunate to have a career that I enjoy and have worked hard to develop. Knowing that the product of my work makes a significant difference in a people's life provides great satisfaction. But I am just as motivated toward other pursuits outside of my career. I am a life-long student, a constant learner, someone who may take recreation a little to seriously at times. Setting goals and achieving them at work, home, wherever…let’s git ‘er done!
A friend
Being a good listener is how my friends would describe me. I can joke around like anyone and maintain a witty sense of humor. We enjoy our time together watching movies, doing dinner at their place or going out, hiking, or any variety of activities. Hitting a bar on occasion is fine with friends and a beer periodically is fine. But experiences shared with others are what I have gravitated more toward over time.

Loyal, honest, up-front but diplomatic and polite in prickly situations, compassionate...this is the start of what I value and strive toward maintaining. Respect for others: this is an important value that I want to embody at every level that I can. Whether it is the fellow changing my oil, a register clerk at Valero, a fellow passenger on a plane, whoever it is, everyone deserves respect and their dignity honored.
