| | Details about me: | I am currently 45 years young, single again, and the mother of 3 wonderful kids although my eldest son (26) and daughter (23) had the audacity to grow up into responsible adults and fly the coop. My daughter even married (though she has neglected to provide me with a replacement child yet). My baby boy is 14 years old now and much too influenced by his siblings...and after he promised me he would stay 4 years old forever. He's growing up fast....too fast...
Obviously by my last aside, no grandchildren yet. I feel gypped...I mean my little sister already has two! Which, by the way, I have a very unique family. People love them or hate them. I don't quite fit into the crowd (and it is a crowd) but I believe that God puts the people in your life that you need... not necessarily the people you think you want. We can't all be born rich and/or famous (or for that matter....sane). :::long drawn out sigh:::
I have lots of interests and hobbies that I don't pay enough attention to. I'm also game to try almost anything. Mostly I'd like to meet more people. Most of my friends are married and while the love is still there I feel like a "fix-up" project or 5th wheel much of the time and realize that I don't always fit in and that my "single and looking status" makes some women nervous. I am looking for new single friends, near my age...
And yep...I am looking for a good man too. Not someone else's man. Not a *perfect* man (vices are much more interesting). Just a *real* man....warts and all. Prince Charming could never handle me.
